Making a Difference in the Littlest Lives

The Contact Center Program provides children aged 4 to 12 with an educational foundation in a nurturing, supportive environment. Often coming from unsafe, unhealthy homes, lacking school-readiness skills, and malnourished; these are some of the most vulnerable children in Nepal. Modeled after the Montessori approach, the program operates through two centers located in the Baleju and Swayambhunath neighborhoods of Kathmandu, Nepal.

Each center enrolls an average of 30 students who begin at the preschool level, learning basic skills such as reading, writing, and an introduction to English.

The program also offers hygiene education, healthcare, and two nutritious, protein-rich meals and snacks daily. In addition to regular health checkups, the students BMI & Anthropometric measurements are taken regularly to ensure continued health and growth.

After 18 to 24 months, many children are ready to transition into the formal school system, often testing into second or third grade. Many of these children graduate and are enrolled in the Child Sponsorship program, extending the impact of the Contact Center on their lives. Even those who leave the program early benefit from the nurturing environment, improved nutrition, healthcare, and the foundational education they receive.

We invite you to join in our mission of educating and empowering severely underprivileged children in Nepal by becoming a sponsor of the Contact Center Program.

Contact Center sponsors contribute a pledged amount of their choosing (minimum of $25.00 per month). These donations support Contact Center staff salaries, books and supplies, nutrition, healthcare, and an after-school program. Contact Center sponsors receive updates and photos about the Contact Center and the children at least twice yearly.
