Remembering Sarita Basnet
We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of the bright and joyful Sarita Basnet, long time employee of BSF. Our hearts go out to all BSF staff and the Mitrata children in their grief and sorrow. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Busy Mitrata Weekend in the Pacific Northwest
Our second annual Seattle Trivia Night took place on March 8, 2025. Multiple Mitrata Board and Staff members traveled to Seattle from St. Louis to assist with the event. Any time members of the Mitrata family are able to gather together, you know it is going to be a wonderfully full visit!

A Look Behind Before Looking Ahead
2024 was a very busy year for Mitrata. As an organization, we were able to accomplish many of our goals, and we are looking forward to a new series of goals focused on providing long-term sustainability for Mitrata and BSF through at least 2030.
Leaving a Legacy
Dr. Nancy Williger has been a prominent member of the Mitrata family for the past 22 years. This year, she announced her retirement from the Mitrata Board of Directors.
