Funding the Future Through M4MK
For the past six years, Miles for Mitrata Kids participants have been getting active to support the needs of children in Nepal. In our final year of M4MK, it is our goal to raise $36,000 to ensure 38 students can join a rare educational trip, regardless of their families’ financial situations. This trip takes students outside of the city of Kathmandu and teaches them about the rich culture, environment, and history of Nepal, while providing important team and group experiences.
Proceeds from M4MK 2026 will be used to provide these students with a once in a lifetime opportunity. The funds raised will cover the costs of transportation, lodging, meals for students and staff, and provide learning experiences that will expand their horizons and boost their confidence.
At Mitrata, we understand that helping future generations goes beyond providing education. Children thrive when their overall health and well-being are prioritized. Our aim is to create the greatest positive impact on their lives empowering them to support and uplift their families and communities. In addition to school, housing, routine health and wellness screenings and medical care, we offer students opportunities to broaden their experiences and perspectives through educational trips, helping them to grow and thrive.
