A New Look into the Mitrata Graduation Celebration
If you follow our blogs closely, you know that in 2022 we celebrated graduation in Nepal for the first time in 3 years! Click here to watch our newest video and gain a glimpse into exactly how special a Mitrata graduation is.
What does it mean to Fund-A-Need?
This year, at our Saturday, April 15, Trivia Night, we will be fundraising for both necessity and fun! During the event, we will have a Fund-A-Need auction that will give attendees the opportunity to provide the children at the new Contact Center with clean water, a multi-day discovery trip for 25 older children, and a much-loved Contact Center field trip to the Fun Park that will include pizza and ice cream. Although the auction will take place during the event, you can donate to the Fund-A-Need anytime before, during, or after the event here:
Mitrata’s Young Professionals Board Needs YOU!
Mitrata’s Young Professionals Board’s goals for this year include hosting an event to build awareness of Mitrata in the St. Louis area, volunteering at Mitrata fundraising events, and growing as a committee!

A Message from Sudan, Mitrata’s first Graduated Medical Doctor
Sudan, one of Mitrata's long sponsored children, graduated from Mitrata into independence and completed medical school in 2022. He is now working as a medical doctor in a clinic in rural Nepal-a goal he had for many years. He is the only doctor in the clinic serving local people in great need of medical care. We are thrilled to announce our 2023 trip to Nepal from September 29-October 15. We are so excited to return to Nepal this year, and we would love to have many friends of Mitrata join us in this incredible experience!

Over the years, as our partnership has strengthened and Mitrata has grown, BSF has grown as well. Just recently, due to the growing number of Mitrata sponsored children, BSF expanded to add two new staff members. With the addition of new staff members and our recent website updates, it was time for updated staff profiles on the “Our Partner in Nepal” page. The page was also updated to include more information about BSF, and links to other BSF blog posts!
Reflections on the Past Year as a Mitrata Employee

In-Person Trivia Night Returns!
TRIVIA NIGHT is back: Saturday, April 15, 2023!
For the first time in three years, Trivia Night will once again be live and in-person! You can expect an evening filled with eight rounds of fun, multi-media trivia including a live round, the fan-favorite “Sink or Float” round, mulligans, and a Fund-A-Need auction. We can’t wait to see you there!
