Our 1st Pic-N-Pickle Tournament!
Last month, Mitrata Nepal Foundation for Children hosted its very first Pic-N-Pickle — a lively pickleball tournament and picnic at the Missouri Pickleball Club that brought supporters, volunteers, and families together for a day of friendly competition, food, and fun! We brought together around 90 people, including 40 competitive players, 17 learn-to-play participants, and more than 30 enthusiastic spectators, creating a lively atmosphere that celebrated staying active and building community.
Players of all ages and skill levels competed in spirited matches while picnic-goers enjoyed food, a slideshow, and conversations about Mitrata’s work supporting children’s education and well-being in Nepal. The event was an opportunity for supporters of Mitrata to join together in a day of movement and connection. Participants and spectators alike left energized and eager for future gatherings that blend community, fellowship, and purpose.
Congratulations to Our Tournament Winners!
Following a series of intense and thrilling round robin matches, the four highest-ranked teams advanced to the finals to determine the champions in both the intermediate and recreational divisions. The competition concluded with an awards ceremony honoring the tournament victors, and the day ended in a joyful celebration of their achievements.
