Funding to Fill the Gap

Each spring, there is a graduation ceremony at the Contact Center, our early childhood educational and school readiness program. The children who graduate take the next step by beginning to attend elementary school, and await individual sponsorship. Although they immediately begin attending school, it can take up to a year before they are fully sponsored.

This year, our goal is for the event Miles for Mitrata Kids to raise the necessary funds to support these children through their transition from the Contact Center to elementary school.

Please join Miles for Mitrata Kids, a choose your own adventure fundraising event. By donating and fundraising, you are filling the gap in financial support our Contact Center program graduates are facing through this transitionary period of their lives. 

All proceeds from Miles for Mitrata Kids will go towards the education of the 2025 Contact Center graduates until they are fully sponsored. These funds will cover the cost of their schooling, healthcare, living expenses, and educational and personal supplies.

In 2025, we will have 10+ graduates between the ages of 9 and 13. The children needing sponsorship either attend boarding schools or live with their families while attending a private elementary school. Sponsorship for boarding school children is $2,400 USD per year. Sponsorship for school children who are able to live with their families is $1,200 USD per year. No matter their situation, all of them dream of being educated and cared for and would greatly benefit from the immediate connection and positive one-on-one empowerment only a sponsor could provide.
