Every year, a few members of the Mitrata Board of Directors travel to Nepal in the spring. This year's trip attendees were Mitrata's Fundraising Committee Chair and Secretary, Jennifer Rashet; and Board Vice President and Sponsorship Committee Chair, Danny Williger. We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of the bright and joyful Sarita Basnet, long time employee of BSF. Our hearts go out to all BSF staff and the Mitrata children in their grief and sorrow. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

This year’s St. Louis Trivia Night Fund-A-Need looks a little different than years past. At our 2025 St. Louis Trivia Night, we are asking you to help us fund exploration, community building, and joy!

Our second annual Seattle Trivia Night took place on March 8, 2025. Multiple Mitrata Board and Staff members traveled to Seattle from St. Louis to assist with the event. Any time members of the Mitrata family are able to gather together, you know it is going to be a wonderfully full visit!

We are excited to be hosting our Sponsor Trip to Nepal from October 31 - November 17, 2025.
