We are so excited to launch a brand-new event for 2024! Seattle Trivia Night will take place on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center in Seattle, WA. We hope to see you there!

Meet Our New Officers
The Mitrata Board of Directors will have new officers in place beginning in January 2024. As Jim Craig becomes Past President, Rick Hendin will succeed Jim as President, Danny Williger will become Vice-President, Jennifer Rashet will become Secretary, and Ambrose Bittner will continue as Treasurer.

Thank You, Jim, for Your Many Years of Service!
Jim Craig has served as President of Mitrata-Nepal Foundation for Children since 2020 and retires from this critical role at the end of this year. We are eternally grateful to Jim for his service to Mitrata as President, but we owe him so much more!

Gifts that Give Back
Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2023 Holiday Bazaar. We had 300+ shoppers and were able to raise $27,000!

Taking Charge of Me, Nepali Style
While in Nepal on the 2023 Sponsor Trip, Pam Hughes, Mitrata Board Member, Child Sponsor, and retired teacher and counselor, led a training for some of the Mitrata children on self-control, anger management, decision making, and navigating peer pressure. Keep reading to learn more about the training from Pam’s perspective, and the importance it holds for the Mitrata children as they navigate life in Nepal.
