2023 Holiday Bazaar

Our annual two-day Holiday Bazaar featuring fair-trade goods from Nepal is back!

As you dive into your holiday shopping, be sure to save-the-date now, and join us at the Webster Groves Masonic Lodge, on December 2 & 3, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Come and shop a beautiful selection of Nepali items that we have chosen specifically for you- our wonderful Mitrata supporters! Many of the items have been be hand-selected in Nepal by our Executive Director Dr. Christine Schutz, staff member Alexis Mead, and board member Jennifer Rashet! Other items were ordered in advance, and approved upon pickup by the team in Nepal. No matter if the items were hand-selected or ordered in advance, we purchase only from local artisans and vendors in Nepal with fair-trade policies. We have trusted these Nepali vendors over the years for their quality and skill.

This year, we will have a large selection of items including felt items, recycled sari clothing and bags, jewelry, pashmina ponchos, silk scarves, and more!

Jewelry

We will have a large selection of beautiful sterling silver jewelry available. There will be many different kinds of jewelry to choose from including earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings! If you are gift shopping, you’re sure to find the jewelry-lover in your life something special!

Felt Items

Felt items make great gifts for the little ones in your family, or simply just wonderful decorations.

We will have both felt non-holiday and holiday items available. There will be Christmas tree ornaments, decorative garlands, and adorable toy animals. Felt is always one of our top-selling sections. If you have something in mind, you may want to stop by on Saturday, December 2nd so you don’t miss it!

Pashmina and Silk Items

Pashmina is the Nepali term for cashmere, and it’s just as soft as you can imagine. The bright embroidered silk is sure to catch your eye. We will have pashmina blankets, sweaters, scarves, and ponchos. When it comes to gifting, a pashmina or silk scarf will make the perfect gift, but you may just leave with one for yourself as well!

Traditional Nepali Items

On top of all the other amazing items, we will also have the more traditional items such as singing bowls and brass statues. These beautifully crafted items are the perfect conversation starters to display in your home. What a great way to share Mitrata with your loved ones this upcoming holiday season!

These are just a few of the amazing items that will be available.

Be sure to stop by on December 2nd or 3rd to check out the rest!
