Virtual School for Contact Center Kids
Rachana Rajbhandari, BSF’s Program Coordinator at the Contact Center, describes how staff and teachers are working hard to keep Contact Center kids safe, engaged, and learning in a time of strict COVID-19 lockdowns.
Keeping our Mitrata kids safe and healthy
Susmita, a program coordinator with BSF, describes the difficulties for our children provided by the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time, BSF’s housing has been providing a safe haven for children without another home to return to, including our older and graduated children who are waiting to start their careers. Living together has provided an opportunity for these Mitrata kids to practice healthy routines and learn household skills with BSF’s guidance.

Nepal COVID-19 Update: Hundreds of New Cases Every Day
The situation in Nepal is desperate as the country tops 7,000 confirmed cases and as citizens are out of work, unable to return home, and unable to buy food. Dr. Christine Schutz gives an update on BSF staff and Mitrata’s children.
