The 2024 Annual Report

As an organization, Mitrata-Nepal Foundation for Children has five core values. One of those values is “Transparency in all our interactions.” Though there are many ways in which we stay true to this value, one of the more obvious ways is through our Annual Report. The Annual Report is a summary of our challenges, achievements, programs, and financials through the year.

Each year, the Annual Report begins with a letter from our Executive Director and Founder, Dr. Christine Schutz. In this letter, she briefly summarizes the highs and lows of the past year. If you don’t wish to read the whole Annual Report, we encourage you to still take a moment to read her words.

The past 22 years have brought Mitrata many changes, challenges, and obstacles, but thanks to the help of our many supporters, volunteers, sponsors, and board members, Mitrata continues to evolve and grow. Every day, we are thankful for the continued ability to make progress in our mission of educating and empowering severely underprivileged children to reach their full potential as citizens of Nepal.
