An Upcoming Visit from Our Partners
In just two short weeks, Bhuvaneshwori Satyal Foundation's (BSF) Executive Director Leena Satyal and Board President Yogesh Satyal will be traveling to visit us here in the United States from August 28th to September 12th, 2026. This will be their fifth trip to St. Louis since our partnership began. Between spending time with our child sponsors, going on hikes and bike rides, joining dinner parties, making momos, contributing to our 2026 Strategic Planning Meeting, and attending our 1st Annual Pickleball Tournament, their time will be packed full of events and activities!
Sponsor Coffees
Leena and Yogesh will spend time with Mitrata’s child sponsors at various Sponsor Coffee events. These gatherings will give sponsors the opportunity to meet Leena and Yogesh in person, share a cup of coffee, and receive personal updates about their sponsored children. Virtual coffee sessions via Zoom will also be arranged for sponsors who are unable to attend in person.

Strategic Planning 2026-2030
Leena and Yogesh’s participation in the 2026 strategic planning meeting is extremely important. Their perspectives and recommendations will play a decisive role in shaping and refining our five-year strategic plan and ensuring it remains practical and impactful. Only by carefully considering Nepal’s current operational context alongside BSF’s planned future initiatives can we effectively align resources and achieve our shared goals. We are very pleased to have them back together in person and appreciate the experience and collaboration they bring to this process.
We are deeply grateful for Leena and Yogesh’s dedication to the partnership between BSF and Mitrata. Taking time off work and traveling all the way from Nepal to the United States is a significant commitment, and we truly appreciate the sacrifice involved. Their consistent effort and thoughtful contributions inspire us and strengthen our collaboration.
