Mitrata’s Young Professionals Board Invites YOU!

Mitrata’s Young Professionals Board (YPB) has been hard at work scheduling fun and unique ways for Mitrata supporters to connect, spend time with one another, and share knowledge of Mitrata with others in the community! In the upcoming months, save the date for two exciting events. In August, join the YPB at a barre class where all proceeds go to Mitrata. Then, in October, join us for a free Yoga in the Park event, and get a head start on your Christmas Shopping! Keep reading to learn more about these amazing events!


Barre STL Exercise Class

August 5, 2022

On August 5th, join Mitrata's YPB at Barre STL to get your sweat on, and raise money for Mitrata! Barre STL combines the methods of barre, pilates, strength training, yoga, HITT, and dance! The combination of these methods make for an enjoyable and fun sweat-sesh. Visit Barre STL’s website to register for a class on August 5th. (Registration begins July 28th!) All proceeds go straight to Mitrata!

What is the cost?

$15 class entrance fee.

There is no dedicated parking lot for Barre STL, but Watson Road, Hancock Avenue, Arthur Avenue, and Maurice Avenue all have street parking available.

When?

There are three different class times that day.

Early Morning: 6:00am-6:45am

Late Morning: 9:00am-9:45am

Evening: 5:30pm-6:15pm

After the evening class, members of Mitrata’s Young Professionals Board will be there to share more information and answer any questions about Mitrata!

What fitness levels are welcome?

All fitness levels are welcome! The evening class will be the best suited for barre/fitness class beginners.

What to bring:

  1. YOU!

  2. Water

  3. Comfortable exercise apparel

  4. A yoga mat

  5. Masks are optional


Yoga in the Park

October 8, 2022

Join Mitrata's YPB at Francis Park for Yoga taught by the amazing Amber Price, breakfast and coffee, and shopping!

Amber will begin the morning with an hour of yoga and mindfulness. After yoga is finished, a light breakfast will be available. While eating breakfast or sipping some coffee, you will be able to browse the table of handmade Nepali items available for purchase!
