Trivia Night was a Success!

Our 2022 Trivia Night took place on April 30th and was an absolute blast! 18 teams competed in five rounds of fun, fast-paced trivia. Trivia Night also featured a Fund-A-Need auction to raise money for our Contact Center and emergency COVID-19 kits for our families. The winning team was given a free table at next year’s (in-person) Trivia Night!

The attendees were able to hear from Founder Dr. Christine Schutz and BSF Executive Director Leena Satyal about the current work being done in the USA and Nepal and the upcoming plans for this year.

Through Trivia Night and our Fund-A-Need auction, we were able to raise over $17,000 for our Contact Center! Participants were given a chance to donate an amount of money that coincided with the giving levels pictured below. It is amazing to see the ways in which we are going to be able to help our children and their families thanks to the generosity of our Trivia Night participants!

The fan favorite round was called Sink or Float. In this round, the teams were tasked with deciding whether 10 household items would… you guessed it… sink or float! Some of the featured items included a VCR player, a hammer, and a candle! Our Trivia Night host, Brian Agovino, gave everyone a tip to remember for next year: candy never floats!

The Command Center team hard at work!

Not only did the Trivia Night participants enjoy their exciting night of fast-paced competition. Our Command Center team also had a blast working behind the scenes during the event.

We want to say a huge thank you to Brian Agovino for being our host, and to our Round Sponsors: Beth Boyd and Modus Architecture. Trivia Night wouldn’t be possible without you.

Congratulations to our WINNERS!
