TRAVEL TO NEPAL

Lapsiephedi

Join Me in Nepal

Each year in the Autumn, we travel to Nepal to see our children and provide oversight for our programs supporting severely underprivileged children. We invite sponsors and friends to see first-hand the difference they have made to our children. Nepal is a culturally rich country with incredible beauty, diverse religious traditions, amazing art and architecture, and of course, the Himalayas. We hope you can join me this year or next.

Warmly,

Dr. Christine Schutz

Executive Director and Founder

2017 & 2018 Trip Dates

October 25 - November 11. 2017

September 18 - October 7, 2018

If you are interested, even if you are not sure, please contact us.  We are happy to discuss the trip in detail with you this year or next.

Overview of Annual Trip

Our trip is roughly two weeks in duration plus travel time. It is a combination of cultural tours, meeting friends, spending time with the children, seeing how our programs operate, and generally experiencing life in Nepal.

We will stay in moderate priced Nepali hotels and have a three-day excursion into the Pokhara or Chitwan regions with day hiking. We will meet the children living at and studying in boarding schools, the Contact Center, and local schools. We will also visit a few children living at home, meet parents and guardians, and our team in Nepal and take the children on at least one field trip too for fun.
