A brilliant mind, beautiful soul, and generous heart.
Aside from the intellectual and emotional contributions they have made in their own community, Joe and Sandra have made a life-changing impact on the lives of countless severely underprivileged in Nepal, one of the poorest countries in the world.
Together, they have provided private school learning, books, medical care, safe shelter, quality food, and enrichment opportunities.
The Joesph Hoffmann, PhD Scholarship Fund was created in memory of our dear friend by members of the Mitrata-Nepal Foundation Board of Directors.
Memorial gifts made will be used entirely to fund scholarships to cover direct university and trade school tuition, books and fees for severely underprivileged young Nepali women and men. Scholarships will be directed by Sandra Hoffmann, M.D.
